Family Promise of Pulaski County (formerly IHN)

As many of you know, right before our last rotation to host Interfaith Hospitality Network guests, the network closed due to financial problems. The money problems have been resolved and the network has re-emerged with a new name – Family Promise of Pulaski County – with a new director, a new day center, and a new lease on life. The new name recognizes that we have congregations participating that aren’t in Little Rock.

Our congregation’s next rotation is the week of July 10-17, so it’s time to start securing your place in the program now. We have openings for setup on Sunday morning (the families are going to start arriving earlier so we’ll be setting up during the 11:00 service), breakdown the following Sunday morning, providing an evening meal, staying overnight with the guests, providing lunch fixings during the week, etc.

If you have questions or want to sign up, contact Sam Byrd, Family Promise Coordinator, sbyrd@thebyrdnest.net.
