Join Environmental Stewardship on Tuesday, August 23 at 7 pm in Second Hall as Mark Brown, Pulaski County Extension Agent, will talk with us about how we can have a beautiful lawn and landscape while conserving water and reducing your water bill.

A few water facts:

  • Less than 1% of the world’s fresh water is readily accessible for direct human use.
  • Individuals in the U.S.  use 50 gallons of water daily.884 million people lack access to safe water supplies; approximately one in eight people.
  • It takes 28,100 gallons to process one ton of cane sugar into processed sugar.
  • 39,090 gallons are needed to manufacture one new car.
