What does this mean for Members of our Church?
You may qualify to make a distribution from your IRA to our church or any qualified charity for your annual stewardship gift or a planned gift to our church;
You must be at least 70 1/2 years of age on the date of distribution;
Your qualified charitable distribution may be applied to your minimum required distribution from your IRA for 2012 and 2013; and
Qualified charitable distributions may be made through January 31, 2013 for the year 2012 and through December 31, 2013 for the year 2013.
