Building on the success of last year’s “World of Health” short-term Sunday School class, Environmental Stewardship is launching an ongoing class, “Earth Care,” began Sunday, April 7 in Room 64. This class increases participants’ awareness of and knowledge about living sustainably and caring for the earth, including ethical and theological perspectives. The class will begin with the Northwest Earth Institute course, “Choices for Sustainable Living,” which explores the meaning and vision of sustainable living and the ties between lifestyle choices and their impacts. We will learn from readings, guests, and most of all, from each other as we strive to care for God’s earth. Please let Rick Owen know if you plan to attend this spring so that enough books can be ordered (firstname.lastname@example.org, 501-307-9593).
