SPY Mo-Ranch Mission Project

Our Middle Schoolers at Second will be travelling to Mo-Ranch in Hunt, Texas from July 6-11th for their Junior High Jubilee Youth Conference! We are so excited about the opportunity to worship together, play together, do energizers, participate in small group and do devotions in this beautiful place. As a part of this week, all of the Junior Highers from different Presbyterian Churches around the south will be participating in a mission project called The Dignity Project: these mission packages will be given to people who are in transition from homelessness, leaving prison and other significant events which put people on the street

with essentially nothing but the clothes on their backs.

How you can help: In order to be able to fully participate in this project, we need your donations. We have a box in the narthex and a box in the youth building all decorated and ready to accept your donations. Please donate any of the following items to this cause:
Essential Items for the packages:
Shampoo and/or shampoo-conditioner combination
Individually wrapped or boxed soap or body wash
Individually wrapped or boxed toothbrush
Toothpaste

Travel size is preferable; all sizes are accepted.

We will be taking donations through July 1st. Thank you so much for helping with this mission project! We can’t wait to participate at Mo-Ranch! If you have any questions, please call Heather Rey at 727-0000.
