Member of our church, David Mills, spent this past year serving as a Young Adult Volunteer in Northern Ireland. The Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. Young Adult Volunteer Program offers exciting opportunities in Christian service for young adults for communities in need in the United States and around the world. David, who is presenting Sunday morning’s Minute for Ministry, will be glad to share more of his experiences with you in the Youth Building following the 11:00 a.m. service. Sandwiches will be provided for all who come to visit with David. Northern Ireland is primarily known for its tragic history of communal violence. Volunteers work with local churches and community projects to address the legacy of division and help lay foundations for a positive, shared future, particularly (though not exclusively) through work with youth and children. Come join David for lunch and conversation!
