The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) met in Detroit June 14-21. Following our 10:00 a.m. worship service on July 6, we will have a special forum in Second Hall on the actions of the General Assembly. Bill Galbraith, General Presbyter of the Presbytery of Arkansas, will lead the discussion. Bill was not a voting commissioner, but was present at the General Assembly. He will give an overview of all the important actions taken by the General Assembly, but his focus will be on the decisions regarding marriage and the vote on divestment.
