Sundays, November 30, December 7, 14, 21, and January 4 in Room 65/66
Leaders: Linda LeBron and Lindy Vogado
Advent is a four-week period, beginning this year on November 30, in which the church, rejoicing in Christ’s first coming, looks forward to Christ’s coming again. This study (from the Kerygma program) is designed to provide fresh perspective on the journey through Advent to Christmas and beyond…..to highlight the underlying message of the traditional scripture texts and themes for the season and to make the meaning and message of those texts come alive for you today. Through the exploration of scripture passages from the prophets, the gospels, and epistles—participants in this course will explore what God is calling us to do in Advent and to reflect upon our understanding of the seasons of Advent and Christmas. Come and explore the “good news of great joy” that forms the very foundation of our faith.
