“24 Hours that Changed the World” Mar. 5 – Apr. 9

Lenten Sunday School Series
March 5 – April 9, 9:50 a.m. • Second Hall

Leaders
Cyril Hollingsworth
Randy Bear
John Landis

The aim of this Lenten class, based on a video series by Adam Hamilton, is to help you better understand the events that occurred during the last twenty-fours of Jesus’ life; to see more clearly the theological significance of Christ’s suffering and death; and to reflect upon the meaning of these events for your life. The focal Scripture text will be Mark’s account of the final hours of Jesus’ life, but passages from other Gospels and the Old Testament will be included. Participants will examine the geographical and historical setting of that day’s fateful events from the Last Supper through the Resurrection. Each session will include a look at the biblical foundation of an event and a brief (9-11 minute) video presentation by pastor and author Adam Hamilton.
