Recognizing that outreach is an important part of our lives of discipleship, we have organized efforts to support the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) group. During Advent we have a Gift of the Heart tree and collect items for health kits (soap, wash clothes, combs, etc.). In the summer we have Christmas in July with a Gift of the Heart tree and collect items for school kits (paper, pencils, scissors, etc.). These health and school kits are sent to PDA where they are distributed to victims of national and international disasters, refugees and other displaced people in need. We also plan to increase our outreach activities in the future.
