Young Adults have a
few different ways
to gather and study
our scripture and
discuss our faith.
Each Sunday morning,
during the church
school hour you can
join us for the 20
and 30 Something's
Sunday School Class.
Another casual
gathering for
education and
enrichment is found
at Theology on Tap.
We gather once a
month at a local
restaurant/bar to
share fellowship and
faith. The Young
Adult ministry also
looks forward to
providing special
events, such as
marriage enrichment,
parenting classes,
and current events
discussions.
Stay
tuned for more
opportunities to
study with our young
adult.
Connections Café
(Sunday School for Young Adults) Second Hall: Camille LeBron Powell
Connections Café is the place
for young adults to come together to connect with
others, to connect with the church, to connect to God,
and to connect your faith with the world. Come
have a cup of coffee and get to know other 20 and 30
year olds in the church. During the church school
hour you are invited to gather with other young adults
for a time of fellowship and conversation. Each
week a topic will be presented, participants will break
up into small groups for discussion, and then everyone
will come back together to share the conversation.
The interest of participants will guide the topics.
What do you want to talk about? Bible study?
Politics? Mission? Theological questions?
Life issues? Spiritual practices? Movies or
music? What's going on in the church? It's
up to you all! Any questions? Talk to Vic
Fleming, Jason Stewart, Jillian Duke or Robert Lowry.

parenthood, and exploring our faith. All parents of
preschoolers (or older children) are invited. If your
child does not attend the Second Presbyterian Preschool,
please contact
Nancy Coleman for childcare reservations.
If you have questions, contact
Jeannie Ford or
Camille Powell.
Theology on Tap:
Come after work.
Come as you are.
Have a drink. Have a
bite to eat. Each
month we will gather
to share fellowship
and faith. We’ll
discuss issues of
faith that engage
the world and issues
of the world that
engage our faith. If
you have something
you’d like to
discuss, bring it.
As this evolves our
methods may too, but
for now, just show
up ready to hang out
and have
conversation.
