We offer a variety of opportunities for Young Adults to get together and share fellowship. Some of the activities we’ve done include a float trip to the Buffalo River in the Spring, meeting for happy hour, going to Travelers’ baseball games, helping with the all-church Fall Carnival, an excursion to Arkansas wine country for tours and tastings, an annual Christmas party and ornament exchange. Stay tuned for future opportunities….
Team Trivia Nights
What does FM stand for? Which former Dallas Cowboy is known for his Rolaids advertisement? What Tim Rise and Andrew Lloyd Weber rock opera was turned into a film by Norman Jewison?
If you know the answers to these questions you should join us for our team trivia nights. We share dinner and a little friendly competition in a member’s home, usually in the Fall or Winter.
Razorback Football Watch Parties
Woo Pig Sooie! Join us as we gather to cheer on the Hogs from the comfort of a member’s home. We gather in time for kick-off and young adults are invited to stay for the game or drop in for just a bit. Don’t worry, though, non-Arkansas fans are welcome!
Summer Potluck and Pool Party
When the weather starts to warm young adults, their friends and their families are invited to gather at a member’s home for a Sunday afternoon of food, fellowship and fun in the pool! We provide the main dish, you provide the sides and desserts.
Travelers’ Baseball Games
The young adults usually meet to watch the Travelers play a couple of times each summer. We keep this informal- no reservations or pre-payment necessary. Just look for Camille at the gate before the game- buy your own ticket and we’ll all find a place to sit together. Bring you family, bring your friends, just come!
Fall Carnival
Trick or Treat! Every year the youth, fellowship, and young adult ministries come together to plan the Fall carnival. The carnival is held each year on, or close to, Halloween.
Christmas Party
Young Adult (20s and 30s) members and friends gather in someone’s home each year at Christmastime for an ornament exchange and dessert party. Bring your favorite holiday dessert to share and a wrapped tree ornament to exchange. Appropriate holiday beverages are provided and childcare is usually available at the party.
