This special workshop, led by Liz Wright (long time Methodist educator), is part of our Family Milestone # 9 Growing in God’s Plan.
In Baptism we affirmed our responsibility for nurturing children in the Christian life as they grow up in a changing world. To this end, we are offering this special program on human sexuality (taught from a theological perspective within the community of faith) designed specifically to meet the emotional and developmental needs of young adolescents. There are two events connected with the program:
The workshop is limited to 20 participants. Priority will be given to church members. Friends will be welcomed when church members have been given ample time to sign up. To sign up, please contact me (jeannieford@secondpreslr.org, 227-0000) and confirm that a parent will attend the mandatory parent meeting and that your child will attend all three sessions of the workshop. Registration Deadline for church members is Monday, February 8. After that date, registration will be open for friends/guests.
