On Friday, October 23 at 4:30 pm, Second Presbyterian members and friends are invited to work with one of our Outreach Ministry partners, Arkansas Interfaith Power & Light, to assemble Tighten Up Treat bags and distribute them at an event at St. Francis House. These treat bags contain power strips, faucet aerators, CFL bulbs, and socket sealers. During the event, we will discuss the importance of energy efficiency improvements, serve healthy snacks, and show a documentary about earth care to clients of St. Francis House and residents of the community. On Tuesday, November 17, at 5:30 pm, we will bring a nutritious meal sourced from local gardens and farmers to St. Francis House and present a documentary about food and sustainability.
