Church Women United World Community Day Celebration will take place on Friday, November 6. All women are invited to attend the celebration which will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church downtown (908 Cross St.). The theme is “Beginning the Journey Together” and will explore immigration issues through Bible passages, story sharing, and discussion. Those who wish may meet in the parking lot at 9:00 a.m. to carpool to Mt. Zion.
