Blake Tierney grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas and attended Hendrix College in Conway. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014, Blake served through the AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate Program at Our House in Little Rock. Hooked by the impact of Our House on homeless and near-homeless families, Blake stayed a year as an AmeriCorps member with the youth programs and has committed another year as the VISTA Leader. Blake will work primarily with young adults of Second, mostly those in their twenties, single and married.
Erin and John Beard are members of Second Presbyterian Church. Along with their children, Ansley and Milze they are active in a number of congregational activities. Erin is a Lead Teacher at the Second Presbyterian Church Pre-School, where she has worked for nine years. She is active in the Maumelle PEO chapter. Erin will provide leadership for our ministry with families with young children.
