This fall the Outreach Ministry is coordinating a service project with a different mission partner each Second Saturday every month. This month, a group from our church will be volunteering at Dunbar Community Garden on September 10 from 9:00 a.m.-noon. Since 1992, Dunbar Community Garden has been a leader in providing access to quality local foods and supports the development of urban teaching gardens within our community. The garden is located at 1800 South Chester Street (not far from Allison Memorial Presbyterian Church). This service site is child friendly, and all you need to bring is a pair of work gloves and sunscreen/bug spray as needed.
