Lindy Vogado leads a four-week study “Looking for God in All the Wrong (or Right) Places.” How do you imagine God? As an old man who lives in the sky? As a divine force without form? While only a few images of God dominate our common understanding, scripture actually provides many images of God—as clothing, laughter, fire—even a lactation consultant. Lindy will lead an exploration of a variety of metaphors of God using the smart and funny book Wearing God by Lauren Winner. The group will gather Mondays, April 2, 16, May 7, 21 at 9:30 a.m. in Second Hall. Books are available for $10.00 in the church office.
