College Students: Join us for the Montreat College Conference, January 2-5, 2019! Second Presbyterian will be joining college students from all around the country at Montreat Conference Center for worship, recreation, fellowship, and study—all in the beauty of the winter mountains! Information About the Trip
We have two possibilities for us but the contact adults from each group that ride together will make a decision after registration closes as it will be based on participation.
- Option A: Registration cost is $253 per person (we hope to subsidize to get it to $150 per person). We take transportation provided by Ozarks which will be paid for by the Presbytery BUT we will leave after lunch on January 1, drive some, spend the night and continue and would plan to return January 6. (Total would be $253 without subsidy and $150 with subsidy.)
- Option B: Registration cost is $253 per person (we hope to subsidize to get it to $150 per person). We take a charter bus and ride during the night so leaving very very late on January 1 and returning late on January 5. The presbytery would pay the same for transportation in this scenario as well but there would be an additional $50-ish to cover the remaining transportation costs. (Total would be $303 without subsidy and $200 with subsidy.)
