On Ash Wednesday, 2018, Christian leaders from across the country, including, Walter Brueggemann, Michael Curry, Cynthia Hale, Richard Rohr, and Sharon Watkins produced a document entitled Reclaiming Jesus. Believing the document worthy of study and discussion, the pastors will lead a Sunday school class on it during Lent. The class will provide an opportunity to reflect on and explore questions such as:
- Who is Jesus Christ for us today?
- What does our loyalty to him require?
- What does it mean to be disciples who regard Jesus as Lord at this moment in our history?
The class will meet 9:50-10:50 a.m. in Second Hall and is led by Steve Hancock, Lindy Vogado, Alisa Secrest, and Jen Evans.
