A group of dedicated Presbyterian Women meet the third Tuesday of each month throughout the year to work on a variety of service projects. We celebrate some impressive totals for the number of completed projects helping to meet needs in our community and around the world:
- 235 “dresses for Africa” (made from pillow cases)
- 147 school bags
- 43 baby blankets
- 664 hygiene kits
- 20 shawls (12 sent to Mercy Church and 5 sent to Stew Pot during extreme cold weather)
- knitted/crocheted 8 baby blankets, 5 baby hats, and 1 child’s sweater
- 5 lap blankets for Presbyterian Village
Many thanks to these hard-working women for their dedication to mission, outreach, and fellowship!
The group is in need of pillow cases to continue to make the dresses for little girls in Africa. Any donations of slightly used or purchased pillow cases are greatly appreciated (all colors and patterns are welcome). Thank you!
