Wednesdays Together is an opportunity for folks of all ages to gather for four evenings of fun, fellowship, and growing in faith. We will share a meal together and nourish our minds and souls through a variety of classes and activities. Children, youth, and adults can engage in study, creative expression and spiritual growth.

Windows to Our Past: A “Tour” of Our Stained Glass Windows
Location: Sanctuary

Our beautiful stained-glass windows are among the most beloved features of our church facility. As we continue to celebrate our 50th year in Pleasant Valley, you are invited to participate in an art/history/Bible study class during these three Wednesday evenings. Don’t miss this special opportunity to learn about the history of the windows, the biblical stories and people depicted in each of our stained-glass windows, and the people of our faith community who made them possible.
The Heritage Committee has produced a beautiful booklet on the story of the windows that will be unveiled as part of this class.

Family Milestone Celebration “Caring for Others”
Hands on Service Ideas for 1st-5th Graders and Their Parents

As a part of our Family Milestones Ministry we are offering the opportunity for our children to discover they are ready to become partners in reaching out in love to God’s world. Parents and children will explore together our call to Christian service.
“There is a call to us, a call of service—that we join with others to try to make things better in this world.” That call is for all people, of all ages, including children.”
Each Wednesday parents and children will explore why we serve, who we serve, and how to serve. Each week will include practical hands-on activities, stories, and games designed to illustrate ways children and families live out our call to “love our neighbors as ourselves.”

Middle school and high school youth will gather in the Youth Building for activities and Bible study.

Kindness Camp
3 years old – Kindergarten
Location: Preschool Hallway Room 5
Through a variety of stories, movies, and activities our little ones will begin to explore how to share God’s love and practice the art of kindness.
