The Joy of Living and Giving – Using Charitable Gift Annuities

When we look at the volatility in the stock market on a daily basis, we are glad that we purchased charitable gift annuities on behalf of our church through Texas Presbyterian Foundation. A few years ago, we decided that we wanted to make a gift to our church and have safe investments that would pay us a fixed rate of return for the rest of our lives. A win-win. In its almost 100 years in operation, TPF has provided individuals, like us, with trusted, modern business practices and standards. We chose TPF over others because there are separate pools established for investment and administration of the Charitable Gift Annuities, with reserve funds established to ensure continued payments.

During these times, we are blessed to have a safe investment that pays us a fixed rate of return and also provides a gift of our resources to our church and its ministries after our lifetimes.
