Second Presbyterian Church of Little Rock joins with others in condemning acts of violence against Black people in our country. We deeply grieve the many lives that have been lost and the on-going experiences of racism that Black people face in our churches, neighborhoods, schools, and communities. In the days ahead, we commit as a congregation to listen to the pain and anger of our Black friends and neighbors, to examine our own participation in systems of oppression, and to work towards racial justice in our community. Black lives matter to God and to us.
