Steve Hancock Retirement Celebration

Dear Friends,

We find it hard to put the words “retirement” and “celebration” together in a meaningful way. We will miss Steve’s generous spirit and caring leadership. We will miss the way he laughs and the energy he invests in ministry. At the same time, we celebrate that Steve is entering retirement in a way that he and Missie will enjoy – travelling and enjoying their family. Let us celebrate all that Steve has accomplished over the last twenty years in Christ and send him with our deepest gratitude.

Please join in a Retirement Celebration, honoring Steve on Sunday, October 10 at 5:00 p.m. Seating is available, but limited in the Sanctuary. The program will also be simulcast to the Great Hall to accommodate extended seating. Click here to register now, so that we can confirm your space and assure socially distanced seating. You can also register by going to the church website or calling the office. Registration opens September 14 at 8:00 a.m.

Masks will be worn within the building. You also have the option of joining the live-stream from the comfort of your home. Your presence is much appreciated.

We will collect gratitude cards and remembrances in the office from now until the gathering. You can also bring them on the day of the Retirement Celebration.
Please stay tuned for more information about honoring Steve and Missie. An announcement about this will be made at the celebration event.
