Join us for the Ordination and Installation of Elizabeth Cahoon on Saturday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. There will be a reception in the Great Hall following the service. Please let the church office know if you plan to attend.
Repairing Homes, Transforming Lives. Appalachian Service Project (ASP) provides one of the most rewarding structured service opportunities in the nation — bringing thousands of volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families. ASP makes homes warmer, safer, and drier for families. ASP believes all people should be able to live in affordable, safe, and sanitary housing. Shelter is a basic human need impacting all areas of life for families. ASP addresses this basic need so families no longer need to worry about leaky roofs, soft floors, or unsafe porches and stairs. Our seven youth and two adult volunteers will be challenged and strengthened during their experience serving God’s people.
