“No Easy Conversations: Children, Grief, and the Holidays”

Sunday, December 15,

3:00-4:30 p.m. in Second Hall,

Leader:  Greg Adams

Director of the Center for Good Mourning at Children’s Hospital

The holidays can be especially difficult for families who are grieving the loss of a loved one or going through a difficult transition in family life.  Parents often find it difficult to navigate this “tender” time of year.  Parents of children of any age are invited to join us for a 1 ½ hour seminar in which Greg will provide ideas about helping children understand death and loss, offering support for healthy grieving, and navigating the holiday season while grieving.  Please contact Jeannie Ford  (jeannieford@secondpreslr.org, 227-0000) if you have questions, or if you would like to sign up.

*** There will be a program early in 2014 designed for children—watch for more information!
