Young Adults and College Students
Faith Compassion Heritage Fellowship
Our Young Adult Ministry is for adults of all ages (18+) who are single, married, and in between to experience community, purpose, and life-long discipleship with Christ. At Second Presbyterian Church we offer inspiration, opportunities and resources for Young Adults. There is a place for you here!
Young Adult Ministry works to support and connect people during the phases of transitions, new careers, and basic understanding of adulting. We focus our ministry in addressing the following four questions as they relate to young adults: Whose am I? Who am I? Why am I? and How am I?
We hope to see you at our events this coming fall! There are multiple small groups to join and weekly Sunday lunches to enjoy after worshiping together in the sanctuary. We hope you feel welcomed and excited to meet our community of believers. If you would like to start your own small group at Second Pres because the list below don’t seem to offer what you are looking for, please contact Elizabeth Cahoon and share your wonderful ideas!

College Students
The Young Adults group hosts events virtually to allow College Students and others to participate from wherever they are. Even if you’re far from church, you can get involved! Let us know to include you by contacting Elizabeth Cahoon.

Young adults are involved in all areas of the church’s life. From the choirs to church leadership to volunteering and much more, there are a huge number of ways to get plugged in the way that is best for your time and talents.

The goal of the College and Young Adults ministry is to provide support, fellowship, and learning opportunities for the young adults of our church. We aim to build each other up and prepare to do the work that God is calling us to do in this world.

This ministry serves young adults of a variety of ages and life stages. Our current group includes college students, graduate students, and young adults in their 20s and 30s. The group includes single, dating, engaged, and married people, as well as people of different races, genders, and sexual orientations.
