Praeclara Presents, lovingly offers a beautiful evening of singing and candlelight as the Second Presbyterian Adult Choir presents Part 1 of G.F. Handel’s oratorio, Messiah. The season’s perennial favorite music gets a whole new look as movement and light are combined to bring Handel’s work to life. Featured soloists include Shannon Rookey (soprano), Kathryne Overturf (mezzo-soprano), Matt Newman (tenor), and Micheal Lowe (baritone).
In addition, Christmas prelude music will be presented by Second Presbyterian Church’s newest bell ensemble, The Praeclara Ringers. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m.
