“Kindling New Fires of Hope”

Church Women United will meet on Friday, January 27 at the Union AME Church, 1825 South Pulaski Street, Little Rock, 72206. All women are invited to join with other women in Central Arkansas for this special celebration featuring Kathy Webb. Kathy currently serves as Executive Director of the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, the statewide umbrella organization for Feeding America food banks, pantries and agencies, and hunger activists. It is the lead partner for Arkansas No Kid Hungry Campaign. Donations are requested to support “Cooking Matters” which helps low-income families learn to stretch their food budgets so their children can have healthy meals at home. Items requested include: Skillets, Sauce Pans, Colander, Paring Knives, Chef knife, Measuring Cups and Spoons, and Can Openers.
