Do you have 15 minutes free each month to visit someone in the hospital? The Hospital Visitation Ministry has several vacancies in our monthly visitation schedule—and sign-ups are in the Narthex! Check out the calendar to see whether you’d like to visit Baptist or St. Vincent’s hospital on the same day each month. Some of our current vacancies include the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays of each month. Duties are simple: call the Care and Concern line on your assigned day, and if there is a church member in the hospital, drop by for 10-15 minutes at any point in the day. Everyone can have the skills necessary to say “Hello!” and “How are you doing?” and training is available August 31 at 5:30 p.m. here at the church.
