Periodically throughout the year, we offer a class for those who are interested in learning more about Second Presbyterian Church. Usually these classes are held during Sunday School (9:50 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.) on three consecutive Sunday mornings in January, April, and September. They are led by the church pastors and staff members and include:
- An overview of the history of Second Presbyterian Church and a walking tour of the church campus;
- An introduction to the history, beliefs, and organization of the Presbyterian church;
- An exploration of the connection between spirituality and church membership;
A casual dinner at the home of Pastor Steve and Missie Hancock is also held on a Sunday evening to give participants an opportunity to meet other staff members and prospective members.
