Second Presbyterian deacons serve as usher captains for all three of our Sunday morning worship services, as well as for Christmas eve worship services. Thank you for serving in this ministry of hospitality.
Ushering and greeting allow opportunities to invite many church members to participate in worship leadership and service to the church. A list of those members who have most recently served as well as guidelins for ushering and greeting are available below as well as on the Time and Talent section of the church web site. There you will also find links to lists of members who selected ushering or greeting on their time and talent surverys.
Members who have not signed a Time and Talent form may also enjoy serving as ushers and greeters and are often waiting to be invited. Asking new members to usher is a good way to encourage them to become involved in the life of the church and provides them an opportunity to meet outher members.
The names of ushers and greeters should be furnished to Robin De Rossitte by noon Wednesday for the following Sunday worship services. Robin may be emailed at robinderossitte@secondpreslr.org or by calling the church at 501-227-0000, extension 224. Listing names in the bulletin is another way for us to better know one another.
