“Re-Thinking the Lord’s Prayer: From Piety to Practice”, Room 65/66, February 26- April 1, Leader: Jim Hester. What better time than the season of Lent to reflect on one of the most well-known prayers of all time? This six-week adult Sunday School class is based on John Dominic Crossan’s book The Greatest Prayer: Rediscovering the Revolutionary Message of THE LORD’S PRAYER. Participants will be motivated to think of the prayer as a pragmatic guide for living in the second decade of the 21st century. Everyone is invited to come and reflect on these often prayed words through “new eyes” and with an open mind.
