Are you thinking about joining Second Presbyterian Church? In order to help you become acquainted with our church, its history and mission, we have specifically designed a class for prospective and new members taught by our pastors and lay leaders. This class will explore what we believe as Presbyterians as well as opportunities provided at Second Presbyterian Church to live our faith through study, fellowship, and service.
The class will be held on Sunday, April 7 at 3:00 PM in Second Hall. Topics for afternoon discussion include:
- Introduction to Second Presbyterian Church History and Tour
- What Do Presbyterians Believe? An Overview of Essential Beliefs
- Getting Connected – Spirituality and Church Membership
Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM. for class participants, church staff and members of the church’s Belonging Ministry. Attending the class does not obligate you to join the church. Childcare is available by reservation with Karin Howze at email@example.com. Please join us for the class and the dinner. Contact Karen Akin, 227-0000 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register for the class or to get more information.
