Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize winner, is the author of 36 works that deal with Judaism, the Holocaust, and the moral responsibility of all people.  His best known– and most powerful work– is his first book NIGHT.  It is the record of his memories of his family being taken to Auschwitz in 1944, the death of his family, and the death of his innocence.
