Next Sunday, July 20, at the 9 O’clock service, our Music Art and Drama Camp (MAD) participants will present a musical adaptation of the story, The Forgiveness Garden, by Lauren Thompson. The story is inspired by the original Garden of Forgiveness in Beirut, Lebanon. It’s a very powerful message, and most timely indeed. All musical selections for this service, and the music within the story are from the new hymnal, Glory to God.
MAD camp participants make their own costumes, design the worship space and participate in activities that help them to grow as musicians and worship leaders. Camp is one week of fun-filled, work-focused afternoons and is open to children who have completed First through Fifth grade. On behalf of the Thea, Austin, Aiden, Windsor, Alex, Kylie, Cameron, Lily, Riley, Lucia, Bailey, Hallie, Aiden J, Donovan, Juliet, Cade, Magnus, Lena, Malingo and Moname, I invite you to join us in worship.
