Glory To God! We have dedicated our new hymnals in worship and have given thanks to God for the contribution they will make in our worship life at Second Presbyterian Church. We also continue to give thanks for the generosity of many, many people who dedicated hymnals in honor and memory of loved ones. Our church is blessed! And now it’s time to celebrate the music that is available to us in our new resource, with a Festival of Congregational Song. On Sunday, September 28, all three of our worship services will highlight some new hymns from our hymnal, some “old favorites” that we sing “by heart” and engage us in sung responses and service music in interesting, fun, and meaningful ways. Please join us, and make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
