Short-Term Adult Sunday School Class “The Company We Keep” October 19 – November 9

This short-term Adult Sunday School class will begin next Sunday, October 19 and continue through November 9.  The class will be based on the book The Company We Keep: 50 Years of Arkansans Creating Just Communities, written by our own Ruth Shepherd.  In her book, Ruth tells the stories about mostly ordinary people who, because of their love for others, have been able to do extraordinary things.  The common theme is the amazing capacity of human beings to care about others. Ruth will begin the class (October 19) by telling her story about her experience in meeting these people and writing the book. In the following weeks we will hear first-hand stories from some of the folks whose stories are documented in the book.
