Family members often have to make extremely difficult decisions when dealing with the critical illness and/or death of a loved one. Family members and individuals facing such a health crisis may find themselves wrestling with theological and ethical concerns, and overwhelmed in receiving information about the kind of care needed in their situation. Class leaders include church member Dianne Campbell, social worker for the Palliative Care Team at UAMS; Dr. Micah Hester, Associate Professor of Medical Humanities and Pediatrics at UAMS, and Karen Akin. The class will meet beginning April 12 and continuing on April 19, 26 and May 3 and 10 in room 65/66.
