All who visit folks in homes, nursing homes, hospitals, as part of our Pastoral Care team or as part of your own caring, are invited to attend a very special training event that will take place Thursday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Second Hall. Church member Stacey Hammons will be our presenter for the training. Stacey graduated from Bethel Seminary in May of 2013. She has spent the last 12 months as a chaplain resident at UAMS receiving clinical training in pastoral care. She has discovered that she really loves being with people at some of the most difficult moments of their lives and in particularly caring for many patients and families as they approach the end of life. Stacey is very happy to report that she will be continuing the work she loves with Gentiva Hospice here in Little Rock. Specifically, she will be caring for families and caregivers after the loss of their loved one. Please let us know if you can come.
