At our Faith & Grief Luncheon, Tuesday, March 20 at noon, we will acknowledge not only those who have lost loved ones—parents, spouses, friends and children—but also those who have lost loved animal companions, pets and helpers alike. The loss of an animal can be difficult to discuss or process, as not everyone has experienced this grief in the same way, but to the individual, love of any sort lost to death leaves a hole that must be mourned.
