On April 27, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., our church will serve as a take back site for the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Takeback Day. The non-medical use of prescription drugs is the second most common form of drug abuse in our country, and proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment. Bring any expired or unused medications in their original container with your personal information either blackened or scratched out, and they will be collected by law enforcement officers for proper disposal. There will be a tent and chairs set up in the church’s front parking lot for easy drop off. Please drop off medications only during the specific hours of the event.
