Family Bells
This intergenerational, pod style music opportunity will begin mid-September. Children, youth, parents, and other family members will be invited to the church to do small group, ringing. There is a possibility of combining families who are already spending time together into musical pods. Rehearsals will be 45 minutes, and there is much flexibility in scheduling. Strict standards and protocols endorsed and approved by the church’s Session are in place for small group gatherings at the church; these rehearsals will be subject to the onsite-meeting policy.
Adult Handbells
Day Ringers, Evening Ringers, Youth Ringers, and Children’s Bells will not meet in the traditional sense until it’s safe to do so. Until then, we look forward to ringing praise to God in new ways with anyone who is interested in participating. Beginning in mid-September, several small group opportunities for physically distanced ringing will launch. Rehearsals will be approximately one hour, and there is much flexibility in scheduling. Some rehearsals will be recorded and the music will be used to support the ministry of the church, including worship. Strict standards and protocols endorsed and approved by the church’s session are in place for small group gatherings at the church; these rehearsals will be subject to the onsite-meeting policy.
