Hosanna! Predicted thunderstorms have changed our original plans—we will now be recording our Waving of the Palms this coming Friday, March 26, at 2:00 p.m. This recording will be used in our online Palm Sunday worship service, and we invite people of all ages to join us in our parking lot for the celebration! Masks will be required, and we will socially distance by carload. Palms will be provided. We would love for you to join us as we prepare for the beginning of Holy Week!

Online Good Friday Service

Interwoven into this Tenebrae service of readings and hymns, you will hear, in both text and music, the story of the final days and hours leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion. Our musical offerings will include works for organ featuring our wonderful new instrument, as well as O Vos Omnes by P. Casals and God So Loved the World by J. Stainer as sung by the Second Presbyterian Chamber Choir.

This in-person service will be outdoors, in front of the church. Masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. Steve Hancock will preach. Music will be provided by the Praeclara Ringers and a small ensemble from the Adult Choir. Registration is required.
