All are invited to join the First and Third Monday Morning Bible Study Group on Monday, August 9 at 9:30 a.m. in Second Hall to discuss Dusk, Night, Dawn: On Revival and Courage by Anne Lamott. In Dusk, Night, Dawn, Lamott asks “Where do we start to get our world and joy and hope and our faith in life itself back…with our sore feet, hearing loss, stiff, poor digestion, stunned minds, and broken hearts?” We will reflect on how in her thoughtful, comic, warm and wise way Anne Lamott shows us ways we can adopt to move through life’s dark places and toward the light of hope that still burns for all of us.
