It is with appreciation and mixed emotions that we celebrate the ministry of Catherine Allsbury as she retires as our Director of Newcomer Care.  Catherine has welcomed, nurtured and assimilated visitors into the life of our congregation for seven years. She always wore a big hat so that visitors could easily find her. We are deeply grateful for her leadership of our Belonging Ministry. She was ordained in the word and sacrament in 1988 and has served five churches.  She also has served in pulpit supply preaching since she was ordained.  We will miss Catherine on staff; but, will enjoy still seeing her and Jim in worship as they enjoy full retirement as a couple.
